The piece that I think is being referred to here is this piece. I apologise if I missed pointing out any OC that was whitewashed, but a good majority of those OCs were whitewashed.
Many OC creators do not realise that there are nations in South America that do not speak Spanish, and even fewer realise that other languages exist, so there there really isn’t much attention paid to those languages, sadly. I would like to see nation-tans whose creators have incorporated other languages into profiles, though. I think it would add a great layer of depth to an OC, and that it would show that the OC creator really did his/her research.
Why we're here
This blog was created to critique bad Hetalia OCs, good OCs, and all in between. We are not a hate blog. We do not bash. And we definitely do not support harassment or sending threats to creators. Most of all, we are not FORCING anyone to believe in anything. We are simply offering fair and impartial critiques. We even have tips on how to make OCs better, because we love to help, and we love to inspire people and create positive change in this amazing fandom of ours.
