I was in a town called Rochester New York and i was talking to one of the hospital owners when I felt 2 sharp pains in my leg then a doctor came out and tole me the awful  news, we have been attacked by Afghanistan

I was so confused and hurt and I didn’t know why what did I do? I then heard a plan crashed into the pentagon and my sisters place her names Washington but I don’t know were my dad was when this happened but as soon as he found out he came rushing in.

Okay, while I like the idea of America rushing in to help New York representing how the people of US came together after the attacks to help one another, I think that it would take some time for Alfred to get in, since where he works and where his leaders live was just attacked.

I was looking at my 2 new scars not daring to go to the city but I knew I had to (so i went there…it was quite I mean people were yelling and there was a lot of smoke but i could here it was like the world has froze.

You know, she’s acting pretty nonchalant about this…I would imagine there would be more panic and more of an emotional response if she were to go to the city, especially since she is the state of New York itself. I don’t know if that’s a result of poor writing or because the OC creator just didn’t think, but it’s jarring.

after a while I came to my sense’s and started to help put out the fires it was so awfully sad I cant even put it into words on what was going on there were people still trapped in ..my land my daddy’s land was so so dead…

Well, technically, the land was dead when you paved over it and covered it with asphalt, but I see what you’re saying.

And you’re still sounding a little droll, New York.

I never…. never felt like that and I don’t wont to ever again.

Why i wrote this 

Oh, good, an explanation.

me: well you see im a 9th grader and we were talking about 9/11 and what it made us feel well so i desided to write this i wanted to all day it bugged me until i got home so i dont mean to make people feel sad or mad its just i felt like…idk it would be good to do…

Oh, I’m sad and mad, alright. Not because this is emotionally-moving. Because this is a completely inappropriate fanfiction and it was handled in an equally completely inappropriate way.

There was absolutely no research done for this fanfiction, and it’s far too soon to create a fanfiction about this event. Far too soon, indeed.

What the OC creator wanted to be emotional and heartwrenching turned out to be tacky and unnecessary. This just…it shouldn’t have been written in the first place.
